Victoria and Albert Museum Trip
Performing Arts students enjoyed a trip to the Victoria and Albert Museum in London
On Wednesday 9th March, Performing Arts students enjoyed a trip to the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London. The V&A is the world’s leading museum of art, design and performance. The museum holds many of the UK’s national collections and houses some of the greatest resources for the study of architecture, fashion, textiles, photography, sculpture, painting, jewellery, design and theatre.
Students were excited to witness over seven miles of inspiring galleries, from fashion and jewellery, to ceramics and architecture – the visit had something for them all, and the trip offered inspiring learning opportunities for our students right across the curriculum. Students were tasked with finding a stimulus to use as a starting point for their next performance. This visit has left our students very excited to start the rehearsal process for this!
