On Friday 6th December, 14 Year 7 students embarked on an unforgettable adventure to the Lille Christmas Markets in France. The day was filled with excitement, language practice, and festive cheer. Both staff and students thoroughly enjoyed the experience, which offered a wonderful opportunity to bring classroom learning to life.
Our recent Year 10 trip to Paris was nothing short of spectacular! The two-day adventure was filled with laughter, exploration, and unforgettable moments. The students’ arrival into the City of Light began with a serene Bateaux Mouches cruise along the Seine, where they saw the Eiffel Tower glittering like a jewel in the night. The following day was a whirlwind of iconic sights, from the Arc de Triomphe to taking in the Trocadéro’s postcard-perfect views of the Eiffel Tower. We admired the timeless beauty of Notre-Dame and wandered around Île de la Cité before heading to the vibrant streets of Montmartre. The Sacré-Coeur Basilica offered breath-taking views of Paris, making it the perfect way to conclude our trip. Every moment was picture-perfect. This Parisian adventure reminded us why we travel—to bond, to discover, and to find joy in the journey itself. It was a trip filled with memories we’ll treasure forever, and we can’t wait for our next adventure!
