GCSE Results Day 14/09/20
On Thursday 20th August, we invited our Year 11 students to Rosedale College to not only collect their results, but to also bid farewell to those who we could not formally, (or personally) see off. Students adhered to our social distancing expectations and attended at their allocated times, eager to secure grades, which will offer them the first building block to their successful futures. We, as a staff body are very proud of the accomplishments of many of our students, and wish them all the best for all future endeavours.
This year’s student body outperformed last year’s cohort in almost all subjects, which is a true testament to their hard work and the diligence of staff. I am very proud of the achievements of all students in Year 11; Mahbobullah Wahidy, Khater Abdullah and Samim Gholam who have made the best progress, have surpassed all expectations to achieve some exceptional grades! Similarly, the three students who achieved extraordinary attainment figures are: Sarrujan Raguparan, Larisa Lungeanu and Mohammed Mughal.
Students were emotional, whilst staff remained on hand and helpful – collectively, we were able to retain some exceptional students and offer advice to those who had chosen to fly the nest. We wish this year’s cohort all the best in all their future endeavours; it was a unique year but in all this adversity, I can proudly say Rosedale College students triumphed and are now ready to embrace the next chapter in their lives. We hope each student is able to reach their full potential and continue to excel.
