Trip to the Victoria and Albert Museum 5/10/17
On Tuesday 3rd October, Year 10 Performing Arts students from Rosedale and Hewens Colleges enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington, London. The museum houses the former Theatre Museum that was once situated in Convent Garden, and exploration of this area was the main focus of the day. The Theatre Museum shows the creation of theatre from the initial concept and stage design to the Director's perspective. The students also spent a number of hours delighting in the costume department and searching the main exhibitions for a myriad of stimuli to be used in their next theatre unit. The behaviour of all students attending this trip was excellent and they all proved themselves to be fine ambassadors of their respective colleges and the Trust. A member of the public took the time to praise the students, commenting on how 'well-mannered' they all were!
